E-on Software Ships VUE 2015 Professional Solutions


NEW RELEASE STRENGHTENS CORE DIGITAL NATURE FUNCTIONALITY


April 01, 2015. Beaverton, Oregon: e-on software, the leader in 3D Digital Nature technologies, today announced the immediate availability of VUE xStream 2015 and VUE Infinite 2015, its newest Digital Nature solutions for CG Professionals.

Other products in the VUE 2015 product line – Pioneer, Esprit, Studio and Complete – will be released later in Q2 2015.


New features of VUE 2015

The improvements in VUE 2015 are expansive: from faster rendering, improved overall performance, a new non-photo-realistic renderer, a redesigned interface that users can customize to their liking, a new displacement mapping engine and more.

There are also a number of features making it ideal for all production environments, including easy exchange of data with ZBrush, support for Alembic and Disney's PTex, and tighter integration with compositing pipelines.

  • Fast content browser with large previews, search and more
  • Double-sided materials
  • Auto-scale clouds with altitude
  • Modulate Spectral clouds sharpness using a function graph

Pricing and Availability

Standard Retail Price:

VUE xStream 2015 retails for $1,995 (with one year maintenance), and upgrades start at $659. VUE Infinite 2015 retails for $1,495 (with one year maintenance), with upgrades starting at $539. Upgrades starting from VUE 7.x are also available (see full product pricelist at http://www.e-onsoftware.com/pricelist for details).

VUE xStream 2015 and VUE Infinite 2015 are available in English for Windows® XP/Vista/7/8/8.1 and Mac OSX 10.6-10.10 for 64-bit systems only.

VUE xStream 2015 is compatible with the following renderers:

  • 3ds Max 2010 to 2015: MentalRay (integrated and MR satellites), V-Ray
  • Maya 2010 to 2015: MentalRay (integrated and MR satellites), V-Ray, Maya Software
  • Softimage 2010 to 2015: MentalRay (integrated and MR satellites)
  • Cinema 4D R12 to R16: native renderer
  • LightWave 9.6 to 2015: native renderer
