Add Advanced Lighting to Your Creations!
The LightTune™ module lets you use e-on software's most advanced lighting options directly inside Vue 5 Esprit*! Until now, these advanced lighting options were only available to users of the professional version of Vue!Derived from Vue 4 Professional technology, LightTune lets you set lights to only illuminate certain objects and not others, or define what component of the light will affect which object (e.g. disable highlights for fill lights)!
For faster and smoother soft shadows, LightTune also gives you access to AccuShadows™, e-on software's advanced shadow mapping technology that works on all types of lights, including sunlights!

What Can I Do With It?

With LightTune™, your Vue lights will now be editable in many ways. You can set the color of the light to change based on distance from the source. Although not really a natural phenomenom, this feature can produce amazing effects! In a similar way, you can also modify the light's intensity according to distance from the source! (Profile Tab) LightTune™ lets you selectively define which objects are illuminated by the light as well as which component of the illumination affects each object. This is done easily by checking boxes alongside all the objects in the scene (Influence Tab). AccuShadows™ is an alternative approach to the rendering of ray-traced shadows that will efficiently and accurately render soft shadow maps for all types of light sources (including infinite light sources such as sunlight!). Although not quite as accurate as standard ray-traced soft shadows, shadow maps will produce extremely smooth soft shadows in a fraction of the time (Shadow Map Tab).
