Does anyone know if I can rotate a Spectral Cloud 360°?
I have a spectral cloud that is around my camera, but I cannot get the actual cloud to physically rotate around 360°. I have been playing with the Velocity of material and Rate of Change settings and the Global Transformation and Material Rotation settings, but they seem to only rotate the material and not the cloud itself.
I am trying to have the camera stay in one position and have the cloud rotate around it in a circle.
What am I doing wrong?
Also I am not understanding the rotation settings under the material and more rotation settings under the cloud tab. Why is there duplication. Whan I set 1 the other changes. What's up?
Any tutorials that explain this better than the manual would be helpful.
You should be able to edit the spectral cloud material, click on the "global transformation" - "Rotation" and spin the clouds around the z (up/down) axis.
However... since you're spinning the clouds globablly, unless the camera is at 0,0,0 you may see the clouds spin around in a circle but not exactly where you expect them to be.
Of course, you could 'transform" the cloud center to where the camera is which may work.
