Hi,
there is no uninstaller for now. To avoid the crash, you only need to delete the plugin file for VRay manually. In 3dsMax, it is located in:

C:/Program Files/Autodesk/3ds Max 20XX/plugins/vrayplugins/CarbonScatter.dlr (on Windows 64 bits)

or

C:/Program Files (x86)/Autodesk/3ds Max 20XX/plugins/vrayplugins/CarbonScatter.dlr (on Windows 32 bits)

My MAX design 2011 has been very unstable since I installed Carbon Scatter. I am not sure if it is because of Carbon Scatter so I would like to uninstall to see. I can't seem to uninstall... I removed the files from the vray plugin folder, but it is still there. When I remove it from the menu and restart, it is still there.

Before we add an uninstaller, here is the list of files to delete :

- CarbonScatter.DLB located in C:/Program Files/Autodesk/3ds Max 20XX/plugins

- CarbonScatter.DLR located in C:/Program Files/Autodesk/3ds Max 20XX/plugins/vrayplugins

- CarbonScatter.DLL located in C:/Program Files/Autodesk/3ds Max 20XX/mentalray/shaders_3rdparty/shaders

- edit the file 3rdparty.mi (with Notepad) located in C:/Program Files/Autodesk/3ds Max 20XX/mentalray/shaders_3rdparty and remove the lines referencing Carbon Scatter files.

- delete the Carbon Scatter folder in C:/Program Files/e-on software

Note that in 3dsMax 2011, the path to Mental Ray is different than in 2009 and 2010, it's : C:/Program Files/Autodesk/3ds Max 2011/mentalimages/shaders_3rdparty/mentalray

Hope this helps.
